Planning Board and Board of Adjustment

Main Street Advisory Board
When: 3rd Tuesday, 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Where: Yadkin Valley Heritage & Trails Center, 257 Standard Street
Eight members plus ex-officio representatives: the Town's Main Street & Community Manager and MSAB Secretary, a Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce representative, and an Explore Elkin representative. Three-year terms, renewable. The Board of Commissioners approves members, with preference for downtown business or building owners. Members attend at least 75% of meetings. Volunteers are welcome at monthly meetings. The Municipal Service District tax funds the board's work.
